I love MARMITE
Although this isn’t new, i’m putting it up here as a reminder of my love of everything Marmite.

Would you get on this plane? Although it seems Sir Stelio’s plane is on fire, ha ha actually it’s not! ha
You have to find humour in EVERYTHING to get through the trauma of an easyjet flight… i find…
Browsing the BBC site last week i came across this little article, focusing on Ted Hoff, one of the men behind the modern micro-chip and co-founder of Intel, pretty fascinating stuff. The image however was the best bit, is that a wood veneer onto of the Intel4004 chip?

This is refreshing if very geeky. This is the control panel for my boiler, it’s 17 years old, filthy and held together with blue-tac. But it is the best, most logical, easy-to-use, intuitive box of tricks i’ve ever known. Compared to the newer versions i’ve experience through-out the flat-rental years which i’ve found simply impossible to program – this is a joy!
I came across this and think it’s great! Hannah Kidd is a New Zealand sculptor who makes people and animals from what looks like spot welded metal sheet. The images speak for themselves…
I’m not a massive fan of super bikes, they scare me silly. I am however a big fan of Guinness. This I thought was pretty cool.
Today we let the world see the TubeTable!
Bespoke furniture piece using craftsmen and suppliers within walking distance of our studio.
Harry Beck’s iconic 1920 design of the tube system is stripped of all colour and type to leave an abstract but instantly recognisable graphic. Sandwiched between two sheets of toughened glass, the cut-out provides an intricate but robust coffee table-top, mounted in a minimalist powder-coated steel frame.
These are for sale but as a limited edition of 20 pieces – Prices on request

Came across this little video, it was the best thing i saw all day – you should definitely watch it.

Monday morning inertia led me to this invaluable ‘how is this made’ video
Watch and enjoy…
My laptop and credit-card come together fairly regularly whenever doing a spot of online shopping/bookings etc. It would appear that apple might have kept this in mind when designing the ‘open’ recess. The radius is EXACTLY the same as the corner of my credit card, so exact that i had to take a photo and write this super-geeky design blog entry. Enjoy or hate it, this is the end.
