LandGrid.io
One square at a time. LandGrid helps communities come together to fund a shared land project — each supporter takes a square on the map and puts their name to it.
A project’s land is shown on an interactive map with a grid laid over it. Supporters click a square to see the project’s goals, costs and plot size, label it with their name and buy it — so a fundraiser becomes something people can see, own and point to.
Squares can be any size to suit the scale and budget of the project, and each one has fixed GPS coordinates. Supporters can personalise their square and use ‘Be My Neighbour’ to connect with the people next door, while drone photography or high-resolution satellite imagery shows them exactly what they’re helping to protect.
Payments are handled by Stripe, and every supporter gets a dashboard that keeps them up to date with the project and their own patch of it.
